The Whole Truth

Where did the universe come from?
God made it before time.                                        Genesis 1:1; Hebrews 11:3; John 1:1-3
To house the people God would make:
His family sublime.                                                Genesis 1:26-27

When God breathed life into the man,
He became a living soul.                                        Genesis 2:7
And so began the life of man;
Then started to unfold

The mysteries of God and man,
The family God made.                                            I John 3:1-3
But then man sinned, then came the end                Romans 3:23
Of fellowship; man strayed beyond

The path, which God had put man on,                          Genesis 1:16-17
And death was man’s reward:                                Romans 5:12; Romans 9:27
And innocence of man was lost;
He disobeyed the Lord.                                          Genesis 2:6

But in God’s plan for mortal man,
A Lamb, before, was slain;                                    Revelation 5:6; John 1:28
For in God’s mind, this Way He’d find
To recover man again.

That Lamb was Jesus Christ, our Lord.
We’re saved from our past sin:
When we believe, we shall receive                        John 3:16-17
Salvation, free, and then,

We must receive the Holy Ghost,                          Acts 2:38-39; Acts 10:43-48
In truth then, He will guide us;                              John 16:12-13; I Corinthians 2:14
That we may know, where’er we go,
He’ll be right here inside us.

To teach, and lead, supply our need
To walk right, in God’s way;                               Ephesians 2:10
Keep all commandments of our Lord,                   John 14:21-24
In love, through faith each day.                                 I Corinthians 13:1-7
 
Then God will gently bring us home
When all our days are spent;                                 II Corinthians 5:8
He'll make new heaven and new earth                    Revelation 21:1-6
For us, who did repent,

While living life here on God's earth,
 We believed in Christ, our Lord,
All sins forgiv’n, we’ll live in heav’n,
For we believed His word.                                    Galatians 3:22, 26, 6

In heaven we shall always be,
Where love flows like a breeze,
Through all, in all who will be there,
Who ‘stood’ ‘upon their knees’.

So come to Jesus, Him that frees us
From all sin and shame;                                        Isaiah 53:5-6
For He’ll be there, great joy we’ll share,
For believing on His name.                                   Acts 4:12

John 3:16: 16) “For God so loved (all of) the (people in) the world, that He gave (for the only acceptable Sacrifice for the sins of mankind) His only begotten Son (Matthew 1:18; Galatians 4:4;

Hebrews 10:1-5), that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish (as the wicked, having no

hope, and no Savior), but have everlasting life.” (Revelation 21:1-7)
