'Members In Particular'

My beloved brothers and sisters in the Lord Jesus Christ:

Never feel that your ministry, conversation, or activity in Christ is less important than others. That is the flesh trying to tell you that, because it doesn’t want any of that in the first place. Don’t hear it!
(Galatians 5:24-26; Ephesians 2:8-10)

Rather than that, hear the voice of God through the apostle, Paul:

I Corinthians 12:27-30:
27) “Now ye are the body of Christ (the Church), and members (each) in particular.
28) “And God hath set some in the Church (each of us, specifically), first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers (of the word), after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
29) “Are all apostles? (No. Only twelve: Matthew 10:1-4 (later, excluding Judas Iscariot, and adding Saul/Paul), are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?
30) “Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with (the gift of) tongues? do all interpret (those tongues)?”

Whatever your calling is, ‘And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men’ (Colossians 3:23-24).

We need you to be that part of the body all the time, for each and every part is absolutely necessary for the whole body to function correctly.

(What part of your own body can you do without, and feel comfortable that everything’s alright?)

At times, we 3ach may be moved by the Spirit to function as another ‘member’ of the body.

We all need to continue the work of the apostles, though we are not apostles: Matthew 28:20; or we may need to be as an evangelist, or an ‘acting’ pastor, or teacher, or we may be called upon to cast out devils, or to give a message in tongues, that it may be interpreted, thus edifying the assembly of the saints; or pray for someone to be healed, or other multiple ministries.

Do not hestiate to do so if your spirit is activated to do them, for we are equal 'sons' in the sight of God, if we are ‘instant in season and out of season’ to do His work of faith, which worketh by love.

There needs to be ‘I’ in faith, or it isn’t faith. But in Christ, there is no big ‘I’, or little ‘u’.

I John 3:1-2:
1) “Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon (each and every one of) us, that we (you, whoever you are in Christ, and me) should be called the ‘sons of God’:”

There may be many denominations, but there is one body of Christ, and we are each specifically selected ‘members in particular’.
