Busy, Busy
By Allan Thomasson
Busy, busy are the days,
Those days in which we live.
They are the days of ‘give and take’;
Today, they’re mostly ‘give’.
Gas prices high; and cigarettes
Are thirty cents apiece!
Your dough ‘goes up in smoke’, and yet,
The prices still increase.
A loaf of bread, a pound of bacon?
All we can afford.
A dozen eggs, one carton, milk.
I scarce can find a word
That adequately describes today,
Low salary, high prices.
‘Use no more than you think you must!’,
And other good advices
Go to and fro (so does our dough!)
It throws us for a loop!
We may go back to ‘flower sack shirts’,
For toys? A ‘hula hoop’.
I heard a woman on TV,
As I remember well:
‘I only do what my money allows’.
Does that not ring a bell?
Did not our loving moms and dads
Also our strait defend,
Did they not say in our own past,
‘Don’t make less than you spend.’?
God gave us common reason, that
We may consider, all;
‘You live beyond your ability,
And your back’s against the wall.’
Intelligence is nice to have;
And to know a lot of things.
But common sense is more than that;
For good things, that sense brings,
That we might live our own ‘real’ life,
With peace and harmony.
The scriptures tell us what to do
And how we may be free
From clamor, strife, and misery,
From worry in all things:
Just live the day that we are in;
Not what ‘tomorrow’ brings:
Step ‘in your closet’, pray, believe,
God will bring it to pass;
My God supplies the things we need;
Though the devil might harass,
And tell you that it isn’t so:
‘God will not answer you.’
But I’ll tell you that he’s a liar,
I have been there, too.
Beneath the burdens of this life,
I have so often prayed
That God would love me, take me out;
For that great load was laid
Upon my back by circumstance,
Which I did not foresee.
And gently, God delivered, and
His answers set me free.
Some things, they seemed to overwhelm,
But by them, strength was given,
For I still had God’s word of comfort;
'Hey! I'm bound for heaven!'
And these words, ‘And it came to pass’.
Within His word are found,
So I rely upon that word,
And blessings more abound.
I’ve suffered loss, and paid great cost,
But God is faithful still.
And by His grace, He will erase
Things which are not His will.
His answer comes, and here’s the sum:
'I will receive His way.',
And will be faithful, and I’ll love Him,
Till we see that day
When He willsweetly take us home
Which He’ll prepare for all
Who will believe in Christ, His Son,
Who redeemed us from our fall.
So, what’s important in this life?
High prices? Little pay?
Not really, for we will get by
Until deliv'rance day
When we shall be at home with Him,
Bad mem’ries? they'll not come;
For God has loved us all the way,
And He will take us home.
Romans 8:28: Of ‘The good, the bad, and the ugly’:
28) “And we know that all things (good, bad, or ugly) work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.”
And what exactly is our purpose? Look and see:
II Corinthians 5:17-21: The prime directive of God for every individual believer in Christ's Church:
17) “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things (sin, evil manners, doubt, corruption) are passed away (dead unto us); behold, all things are become new.
18) “And all things (now in the life of all believers in Christ) are of God (grace, faith, and truth: love, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost), Who hath reconciled (forgiven all our past sins and redeemed) us to Himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation (of the world to Him);
19) “To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses (sins) unto them (as they were reconciled to Him, as they believed in Jesus); and hath committed unto us the word (message, ministry) of reconciliation (by the gospel of salvation in Christ Jesus, the only begotten Son of the only true and living God, Jehovah).
20) “Now then we are ambassadors (, promoting the kingdom of God to the world of lost souls) for (in the stead of) Christ (in the world), as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead (whoever you are who has not believed in Jesus unto salvation), ‘be ye reconciled to God’.
21) “For He (God) hath made Him to be sin (taking our sins upon the cross at Calvary) for us, Who (Jesus) knew no sin; that we might be made the (apparent and obvious) righteousness of God in Him.” (Ref: Isaiah 53:5-6)
And here is the conclusion to the whole matter as to 'Who is right?', and 'Who is wrong?':
It’s not what doctrinal beliefs we as individual believers hold to be true. That is entirely our own personal responsibility; and it is secondary to the preaching of the gospel of salvation to the lost souls that are wandering in the wilderness of their sins, having no hope, and without a Savior, as we all once were, before God sent someone to love us to Jesus for eternal salvation of our otherwise lost and hopeless souls:
II Timothy 2:15: This commandment is for each individual believer:
15) “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing (understanding, perceiving) the word of truth.”
Paul said this, after realizing that there were already multiple divisions (denominations) among the Church of believers, in his day, even as he was writing the greater part of the New Testament, as Jesus commanded the apostles to do: Matthew 28:20:
I Corinthians 2:2: This is Paul’s resolve above all else in the Church, the Church's priority No. 1:
2) “For I am determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and Him crucified (the gospel of salvation to the lost souls that are in the world).”
Therefore, let us not bicker, and contend, and debate or condemn one another, over our doctrinal beliefs; but rather let us concentrate on the Church's number one priority, utilizing all of those secondary efforts into faith, and together, take the gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost; for that is the only reason that God left the Church on the earth.
Oh, God knew that we would not keep the pattern of God for the Church, which only would be the perfect will of God for all of us believers who make up the Church, (I Corinthians 12:27).
(Ref: Hosea 6:1-3: BC724)
Exodus chapters 25-26 defines the principle of 'patterns' in His service; specifically Exodus 25:40: BC1462; (God’s specific patterns for all things pertaining to any service or performance in God)
I Corinthians 1:10: And this is the specific pattern of God for the Church that Jesus built:
10) “Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing (doctrine, truth), and that there be no divisions (denominational separations) among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind (understanding of the truth that is in the word of truth) and in the same judgment (wise application of the true word of truth’).”
However, since God knew there would be various understandings of His word of truth, He gave Paul this commandment to give to us:
Romans 14:5a: God’s word on our personal ‘diverse’ doctrines:
5a) “One man esteemed one day above another (one doctrinal belief): another esteemed every day alike (a different doctrinal belief, or understanding) .
Now, what is God’s word regarding different doctrinal beliefs in the same congregation, or same body?
Romans 14:5b:
5b) “Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind (before God).”
And what if one is not fully persuaded that his belief is the right belief, and continues to practice it?
Again we return to II Timothy 2:15 (above), as well as to:
Acts 17:11-12a: Believers in Berea prove the apostles’ doctrine:
11) “These were more noble than those (rebellious renegades) in Thessalonica, in that they (the Berean believers) received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things (which were taught by the apostles) were so.
12a) “Therefore (because they proved the truth to themselves by the word of truth (Old Testament: the law of Moses, and the prophets, and the psalms) many of them believed;”
What is then the status of one who does not search, and research, the scriptures regarding his/her doctrinal belief, whether it may or may not be right, according to the word of truth?
Read this passage of scripture, which shall answer that question:
Romans 14:23: Of unproven doctrinal beliefs:
23) “And he that doubteth (practices a doctrine in doubt, of which he is not fully persuaded before God) is damned (has transgressed, or sinned) if he ‘eat’ (practices that doctrine), because he ‘eateth’ (practices it) not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.”
Read all of Romans chapter 14.
These are the principles of God. And if you desire to know all of the principles of God, which are perfectly and concisely given in the word of truth, read my blogs, and you will know things which are for the most part not taught in churches.
I am a humble and charitable writer of the truth that is in God‘s word, and of God’s true principles, which do not conflict with any of the rest of the scriptures, but are specifically and precisely fully coordinated with all scripture, for they are the truths which Jesus could not speak to the apostles, who were born again by the Spirit of God, the Holy Ghost at the time when He said this to them:
John 16:12-13:
12) “I have yet many things (truths, understandings) to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
13) “Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth.”
Then, in Acts 2:4, the Spirit of truth (the Holy Ghost) did come, and about a hundred twenty believers, includingthe apostles, and afterward, hundreds of millions ever since, in the age of the Church, and until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in'(: Romans 11:25), the Spirit of truth has been, and will be, given, by the 'baptism with the Holy Ghost (Joel 2:28-29; John 1:33):
'And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make us free.' (John 8:32)
'If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.' (John 8:36)
How shall He make you 'free indeed'? By His ministry from heaven, the 'baptism with the Holy Ghost', for then, and only then, shall we become capable to 'bear' (comprehend, understand, concieve) the truth that is within the word of truth. It is the 'pattern' and the principle of God.
And it is necessary that we be baptized (saturated) with the Holy Ghost, as were the apostles, and hundreds of millions of others during the age of the Chirch, that we may then be able to understand the word of truth as we must. Then, and only then, may we properly observe the following passages:
Isaiah 28:9-10; Isaiah 55:8-11. (Of God's thoughts and ways, and of His knowledge and doctrine.)
These are the foundations of all of the principles of God, and are primarily fundamental to knowing the things that God reveals by His Spirit of truth, for they are given to those whom God qualifies. That also is discussed in disclosures which I write in my calling to truth; and I humbly and lovingly relate them to all who will receive them.
God bless you all.
Remember: God loves you all the time you live, whoever you are.
Love Him back. Believe in His Son Jesus Christ, and be saved if you haven’t already. Then at the end of your days, He will welcome you to your new eternal home with Himself, and with the only Savior of the souls of men, Jesus Christ, Lord of all things.
Matthew 28:18-20: Jesus’ commandment to all believers in Himself:
18) “And Jesus came and spake unto them (the eleven apostles), saying, ‘All power is given unto Me in heaven and in earth.
19) “ 'Go ye therefore, and teach (the gospel to) all nations, baptizing them (that believe the gospel) in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20) “ 'Teaching them (all individual believers of all nations) to observe (keep, do and teach also) all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.’ Amen.”
