'The End of Days' (March 28,2012)
By Allan Thomasson

The world is going topsy-turvy.
Economics? Bad.
The governments are falling.
It’s the worst we’ve ever had.

A hundred more tornadoes, too,
A couple weeks ago.
Tsunamis, ‘sun spots’, hurricanes.
How far have we to go?

The Bible speaks of all these things,
For Jesus spoke them clear.                            Matthew 24
Are we now blind, and cannot see?
And deaf? Can we not hear?

God’s love is giving warnings that
The end is now at hand.
We need to look within God’s book,
That we might understand

That God so loved the people in
The world that He has made,
He sent the Savior from above                           John 3:16-18a
And, as His plan was laid,

That Christ would come, fulfil the law,
Then offer sacrifice
Of His own sinless body, and,
Thereby would pay our price,

That souls in sin, will once again,
Be in the Father’s favor,
They crucufied Him on the  cross,                    Isaiah 53:5-6
That He might be the Savior

Of all who then would come to Him,
Just trusting in His name,
That by believing, would be saved
From sins for which they’re blamed.

Did Jesus die for you? He did.
Each ‘whosoever’, who,
Would come to God by Jesus Christ,
And that’s both me, and you.

There’s so much more for all believers
In the Son of God
There’s joy, and peace. God’s love abounds,
As on this earth we trod.

For those then who are left behind,
Not believing on Christ’s name                          John 3:18b
His purpose in your life’s not done,
That which to earth He came.

Then you shall be condemned to be
With Satan’s wicked crew,
In that eternal lake of fire.                                  Revelation 20:10-15
(That what you want for you?)

So turn to Jesus for refuge,
Be saved from your past sins.
Into God’s glory evermore,                                Revelation 21:1-7
With joy, you’ll enter in.

James 4:14: ‘Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life/ It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.’
