‘Pullybones’, and ‘four-leaf clovers’
Used to mean so very much.
Me and all my friends thought all those
Simple things were just the touch

That  kept us happy, day by day,
When times would ever boring be.
Things were much simpler for us then.
We had no thought that, even we

Might someday get into so many
Complications, complex things.
School then, it was such a drag,
But we just thought that we were kings

When, finally, the summer came;
There was so much that we could do.
Drugs then were not a common thing.
But times have changed; of course, that‘s true!

So many jails, so many prisons,
Saturday, nights seem so busy
At most local ER’s now,
It almost puts me in a ‘tizzy’

For so many hurting, kids
From ordinary family homes,
For gangs, with shootings, random hits,
Throughout the bigger cities roam.

Seema to be churches every where,
About each side of every street.
There’s little progress, so it seems,
To all those situations meet.

I write of all the simple things
Which we, the ‘saved’, could really do.
I can only do just what I know,
From God I always take my cue,

To write the Bible truth, and send it,
Counting on believers, too,
To send it on, until it's gone
Worldwide, that it may tell a few,

‘The end is really coming very soon:
Trust now in Jesus, and be saved.’
And, ‘Churches, we must fellowship
For that’s the plan our God has made

That we might all work together, 
Love each other, fellowship around,
We must win souls ere harvest’s done,
Till every soul God calls is found.

Of all the lost and dying sinners,
In their wilderness of sin.
Do we have time to bicker now?,
Or make the best of time to win

Those souls? They're trapped, by Satan’s power,
Or is it ‘doctrines’ we regard?
Read Romans fourteen, humble be,           Romans 14
And bring the sinners to the Lord.

Church, we now must all repent,                 Hosea 6:1-3
Return to God, our heads must bow.                      I Corinthians 1:10
Like Jews of old, we've wandered, too.
So, come with me before Him now.

Do we realize, we’ve been chastised,              Jeremiah 30:11;
Awake, and sober we must be.
Keep Christ’s commandments, love your brother,
God has said to you, and me.

That: ‘If My people, called by My name
Shall humble themselves, and pray,
And seek My face, receive My grace,
And turn from all their evil ways,

Then will I hear from heaven,
And will forgive them all their sin,
And (by My hand, I) will heal their land.’                  II Chronicles 7:14
Second Chronicles Seven Fourteen.

It’s not about you; nor even me:
It’s hopeless souls, now are lost in sin.
Take the gospel to the world
Find them all, and bring them in. Amen!

‘Go ye therefore, and teach all nations (the gospel of Jesus Christ), baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost (the ’Godhead’): teaching them to observe (believe, do, teach and keep) all things whatsoever I have commanded you:’ (Matthew 28:19-20a)

Do you love God? Give someone else a chance to, today, that they might love Him, too...for ever!
