Right: Or Wrong
By Allan Thomasson
Would I be wrong if I should say,
‘There is no God.’?, but then,
If I should say, ‘My God is real!
And I will trust in Him.’? (Proverbs 3:5-6)
What if there really is a God;
And if we both should die,
What loss would one, or both, of us,
Then face beyond the sky? (Revelation 20:12-15)
If I am right, I’ve won the fight!
My flesh has lost: I win! (Galatians 5:24)
If I am not, what have I lost?
I lived life free from sin. (I John 3:1-3)
If you are wrong, what have you lost?
Eternal life in heaven, (Revelation 20:11-15)
Where evermore, we shall adore
The One Who life has given
To all who will believe in Him, (Acts 16:31a)
And Jesus Christ, His Son: (John 14:1; John 3:16-17; John 14:6)
For Jesus came from God’s own throne,
And died for every one. (Isaiah 53:3-12)
I know that I am right, indeed,
And heaven I have won.
Christ came, and He has made me free
From all the sins I’ve done. (John 3:18)
If you believe in Jesus Christ,
He’ll give you new life, too.
New heaven and hew earth He’ll make (Revelation 21:1-4)
For all, both me, and you,
Who will believe, that through His name,
Our God will save our souls. (Acts 10:43-48)
And we’ll for ever be with Him
As endless ages roll.
Eternity is everlasting: Daniel 12:2.
