God Is:

Hebrews 11:6:
6a) “But without faith, it is impossible to please Him (God):

(And this is faith):

6b) "For he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a Rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.”

You that are searching for God: He is searching for you, to come to Him, through believing that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that Jesus came from heaven to live in a body that God the Father had prepared for Him (Hebrews 10:5; Matthew 1:18; Galatians 4:4; Deuteronomy 18:18-19), that He might fulfill the law without error in that body, and then offer His body up to the Father for the sins of every one who will believe Him:

John 3:16:
16) “For God so loved (every person in) the world, that He gave (for the only acceptable offering for the sins of the people) His only begotten Son (the living body of Jesus Christ, the Lord), that whosoever believes in Him (the only Savior of men from their past sins which they have committed) should not perish (with the wicked, or, the unbelievers), but have everlasting life (with God and Christ).”

Here is a preeminent example as to how men are saved from their past sins, and get prepared to serve God the Father, as a newborn son of the only true and living God, Jehovah:

Acts 10:43-48: Peter preaches the gospel of Christ to non-Jews (Gentiles) in about AD41:
43) “ ‘To Him (Jesus) give all the prophets (of the Old Testament) witness, that through (faith in) His name whosoever believes in Him shall receive remission (taking away) of (all past) sins (which they have committed.’
44) “While Peter yet spoke these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.
45) “And they of the circumcision (Jews) which believed (in Jesus) were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles (non-Jews) also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.
46) “For they heard them speak with tongues (as the Spirit gave them the utterance of tongues), and magnify God. Then answered Peter,
47) “Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we (Jews and apostles)?
48) “And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of Jesus.

Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.”

So this should be the typical manner in which God both saves us, and then baptizes us with the Holy Ghost (Joel 2:28-29; Acts 2:4), and then, either after we have been baptized with the Holy Ghost, or before, be baptized, fully immersed in water.

The next thing we must do for a successful walk in Jesus Christ is this:

II Timothy 2:15: We are solely responsible to know the truth:
15) “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

In the Blogs that I write, there are truths for everyone, on all levels of growth and maturity, on the things we need to know; from the ‘users of milk’ to ‘them that are of ‘full age’:

Hebrews 5:13-14:
13) “For every one that useth ‘milk’ (of the word: I Peter 2:2) is (currently) unskillful in the word of righteousness (the Christian Bible): for he is (yet) a babe (in Christ).
14) “But ‘strong meat’ (of the word) belongeth to them that are of ‘full age’ (mature), even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.”
