'Why Do I Write?'

I do not write so that anyone will regard me any higher than I am as one of you. 'I am as ye are', Paul, the 'greatest' apostle (writer of the mysteries and of the revelations of the word of God) said to those to whom he wrote.

You and I, all 'saints and sinners', walk the earth in a body which does not love God, for the flesh in which we all live on this earth has its own goal of self-gratification, which is, at times, very difficult to overcome those ungodly 'af...fections and lusts', to sin, for Adam polluted all his generations' flesh with a sinful nature, and I know that quite well, for Jesus saved me from a life of sin of which I choose not to remember any more.

But Jesus said to a houseful of Pharisees (high-minded religious Jews), that, 'to whom much is forgiven, the same loveth much.'

And that is why I have given my life to write and speak for Jesus to those whom He loved so much that He gave His life in a most horrible way, on that cross of shame and degradation, cruelly beaten and mutilated by the Roman soldiers (because the precious Jews had condemned Christ, thinking that they were doing God a service, according to the law of Moses), so that each and every person on the earth, from the atheist to the most religious persons might believe on Him and be saved.

I gave Jesus my heart, and He gave me His, so that the same love of God could flow through it, and I could lovingly and caringly give you the gospel of Jesus, and your soul would be saved from the condemnation of your past sins, as mine was, when we believe in Him.

Any hour, day or night, I may be prompted to write God's truth to both the churched and the non-churched; and I love my Lord so that I will not hesitate to spend hours to complete a writing, a poem, or song, or simple statements, which I feel that God wants someone (maybe you?) to read and understand how He loves you.

I do not accuse anyone, nor do I judge any person. I call to every person's attention to what God's word says about everything, which I receive from Him while I ponder His word, and our position before Him. I love (with the love of God) every person, regardless of your standing before the God of my salvation.

And I am one to whom much was forgiven, therefore my love is substantial, with humility and true charity.

God loves you: love Him back.
