'Did You Know' August 26, 2012)

Did you know God made all things
That you and I behold?
And did you know He gave us words
More precious than pure gold?

He made the space, the stars above,
He made the earth below,

So man could be God's family,
And His great love could know.

But man committed just one sin,
Condemned all flesh of men.
But God had made the perfect Way
To bring us back again.

God sent His Son, the only One
Who would save both one and all
Who would believe upon God's Way,
Then save us from our fall.

Our flesh will die; and here is why:
For in our flesh is sin.
Our flesh, with urges, wills and wants
To control our soul within.

We're not our flesh; we are the soul,
Forever, it shall live,
And by our choice, the Father's voice,
Eternal life will give.

So, now believe in Jesus Christ,
Who died upon that cross,
To save our soul, and make us whole,
That we should not suffer loss.

He'll make new heaven and new earth,
For all His family,
Yes, those who chose God's Way to life,
And there we'll always be.
